One of them is nature, the whole process of life. What we should keep in mind in order to create a good form of art is that order without diversity can cause  monotony, but diversity without order can cause chaos. Which leads to conclusion that art is an attempt to create pleasing forms. On the other hand beauty is relative, so art isn't supposed to be beautiful it's supposed to make you feel something.
