Architecture and technology 



Creativity and traditional ways of making things are being involved in a process of homogenization. We need to understand that technology brings to us what we really need in the sense of functionality, even though the level of luxury in this possession is to be discussed. The common thing about creativity and an invention seem to be in some kind of way the process of thinking or originating idea that the two ought to have. The changes made in the basic concept divide these two as the background suggests for inventions that will accomplish the will, but in the other hand art in itself, closely related to creativity, isn’t something that comes from need, rather than the desire, even though the background still plays a role.

The power and the concept of  knowledge is often misunderstood, because knowledge in hands of someone who has the idea to bring something different that will change the conception of a general idea based on what we already have, is power that brings the change. Otherwise if it's in hands of someone who can't think differently, there will be no change. To think about other ways and possibilities about how the things could work is starting point for new inventions and the development of technology. According to Greeks, art originates in techne, which is a knowledge related to making or even a combination of a spontaneous knowledge and an intuitive skill. Just like in our daily life ,most of the knowledge is accumulated from experience but the knowledge itself can reach a high level that can be tough later on. Again according to  Greeks, this knowledge of such a high level it is called mathema and it is mathematic a special for of such a knowledge that turns techne into technique and then into the modern technology. Referring to the ancient  philosophy of the Greeks appears for techne to be thought as a power of nature, possessed only to a limited extent from humans, but still in concept it seems to be part of the process into bringing things into generated forms, by thinking for it as art itself.

When living in a world that has passed through a lot, experience has brought to us infinite generated forms of making, but still art the ones who have that special power to recreate the world where we live in , in a more interesting point of view. Not only creating a new order of making but even manipulating an existing order as that of cosmos. Referring here to the basic cultural traditions of a region, and the one who does it properly must be aware of the fact that posses the power of applying a great influence.

In technology we observe something  different, because technology on the other hand has taken as reference the movements of the body and has thought of ways to make the process of some kind of physical activity easier so that the man will be able to only control a machine and have the same result, or even a better one, in such a way to minimize the effort and the time.

When defining architecture we mostly refer to it as both art and science. It is Art for the aesthetic aspect that it possesses and science for the precise calculations  that it's based on. If we would analyse an architectural work , we see that it goes through some process that begins with a moment of inspiration, and later on making the right calculations to prove the scientific references.  I would refer to the Greeks ,  because even from what we are observing nowadays,  mathematic and technology have set limits to the creativity. Going back to the starting point, need for something different from what we have may lead to the beginning of a new idea as well. Just like an artist an architect creates a new and different reality, sometimes hard to percept, but even though it's different it's brought and fitted in such way by the technology so that everyone can understand .
